Where to find a taxi at Terminal 1

The public taxi rank is outside arrivals, door 6, ground floor. In daylight there is almost always a queue. You take the first car. You do not pick the model. You do not book.

Our driver waits in the Terminal 1 arrivals hall, name on a sign. The exact point is in the email. Bags, car, gone. You do not hunt the rank.

From Milan we come to you: hotel, Centrale, the Duomo, a street. We leave you at Terminal 1 with check-in time in hand.

  1. Land, collect bags (T1 has more than one hall: follow your flight’s belt).
  2. Come out into arrivals. The driver is there, name on a sign — not at door 6.
  3. Bags in the car, on to Milan. No rank queue.

Rank taxi or private transfer at T1

A rank taxi at T1 is easier to find than at T2. The Milan fare is €114. The queue, late and at first light, remains.

The transfer is booked. Card on SumUp. Confirmed at once. Then the meeting point. More than four of you: the first rank taxi may not fit. Here you pick the van before you leave.
